I agree about Riely, and that John is being a twit...but the reason I forgive both of these plot points is that John has to eventually learn to be independent, learn to be his own man and not be babysat all the time by his mom and/or Cameron if he's going to be the future leader of mankind. Part of that entails being somewhat of a prat sometimes, especially when you're a teenager.

I looooooved the chase with John and Cromardie, and now we know terminators can sink! We never knew that even from the movies (speaking of the movies, have you seen them yet?)

I have a friend doing Teach for America, and she says it's a brutally difficult but incredibly education experience.
