I am currently blessed with the nicest host family I have had so far. They let me check my e-mail once a week, and they are happy when I get mail from people instead of being all like 'you're in japan what are you doing getting letters from America?' Yeah, it's really nice. Plus going up the hill everyday is good for my thighs which are horrid. Reading that one's favorite singer is a guy and only has 6% body fat total is not good for one's self image. Actually, it makes you realize that the singer is crazy and that really if you ever do meet him you will punch him. Points to anyone who can guess who I'm talking about. Although if you know me at all, you'll have guessed by now I know.
School ended. It's sad, because too many people I know are leaving. Plus I have to switch homeroom teachers. I'm told my new homeroom teacher will also speak English, but really, no one knows who that is yet. Plus I get new classmates, except for Keito who everyone thought I should stay with. I'm glad she's really very nice, and helpful. It's not her fault I stopped understanding Biology at all, and started readidng instead.
Sunday, I had to get up at 4:30 in the morning. Way to early. One of my other host fathers Hara-san turns out to be a pro-racecar driver in his spare time. He drives a Porche for Falken. He was doing very well too, until he got a flat tire. The other car on the Falken team came in second overall.
May I just say that we should start focusing more on the horse racing industry of America. IT could be a huge moral booster for some people. The most famous race horse in Japan has never won a race, and he's run 106 times as of yesterday. This wonderful horse is named Haurara. Everyone here loves this horse, and they honestly hope that someday he'll win a race.
