My host family would like me to learn Japanese faster, and to help me in this process they would like me not to go on the computer anymore. So, this is going to be the last update for a long long time.That's okay with me. I'm sorry to those of you who I told I would update. Maybe once I get a better grasp of Japanese I'll be able to get on the computer more. I am also not checking e-mail so please don't e-mail me. If you want to contact me write to me. I promise to write back.
I still love Japan, it's loads of fun. On Friday I got to go to Shibuya with Ena and her friend Mao (who is very nice, I hope I get to do more with her). Shibuya is a popular place to shop in Tokyo. That was really fun. I hope that I get to go back. I found Sour Starburst. For those of you who know me, this made me really happy. Sadly, I have already finished them. ON Saturday Ena, my host mother, and I went to a Christian Dior fashion show (yes, with a runway and models) in Tokyo. While I was there I experinced my first Earthquake. I am fine. At the time I told myself I was being silly. Today is Wednesday and I just found out that it actually was an Earthquake. So, I guess I handled it well.
Tuesday we had off of school for a national holiday. That was neat.I went back to Kamakura with my host family. Oh, I forgot it rained all weekend because of a typhoon. On Sunday the school called to say they might cancel school on Monday, but they didn't. It's not fun to walk to school in really high wind, in a pleted skirt. Really. Take my word for it. I found out today (Wednesday) that it's even less fun to walk in high wind and rain.
Well, that's all I can think of for now. I'm sorry this is not longer. If you want a more detailed idea of what is going on send me a letter. I really do write back. I hope all of you are doing well, and that school is going well for you. Or, if you don't go to school life in general.
Oh, wait one last thing. Yesterday, I got to do karoke for the first time. Yeah, my host family was not impressed. They really didn't have that many songs that I could passablly sing. I wish that they did.
