New Job

Well, I started work yesterday which was interesting. I was glad to hear that I got a job because for the entire weekend I wasn't really sure. I'd had been told I had one, but had no information about it. Monday afternoon I got the call saying I would start on Tuesday. I work with low income housing in the Fresno area. I don't have a lot of client contact, mostly I just process yearly update applications. So far it looks like it's going to be an okay job. I might maybe get to use Japanese in order to process some applications. I hope so because it would be good practice. I work five days a week one week and then four days a week the next week. However, I work more than eight hours a day so it works out to be a regular job.

Working is exhausting though. I am not at all used to getting up in the morning. So I'm going back to drinking coffee hardcore. I mean I just don't think I can make it through the day without coffee. So much for chai. I don't think it's going last through the work week. Must have coffee. And they don't have coffee and work, they have diesel fuel.

Our apartment is actually clean. Well, not right now, but I think we've actually unpacked which is really nice. We are slowly getting ready for the parents to come and visit next week. I am excited.
