AHHHHH. It happened again. My favorite character died on Sarah Connor. And it made me mad. Details under the cut.

Charlie!!!!!! You made of awesome, and I knew they had only brought you back for Sarah to manipulate and kill you. And your little dog too! It made me so mad, because he was cool and I was sad to see him go earlier this season, but he had no more story to go with the death of his fiance. And so then they have him killed when they bring him back because there is no where to go with his story. They had to kill him. It just sucked.

His moment with Sarah though was touching. I mean. WOW. I thought it just spoke volumes that she could take his hand and put it on her breast and then watch the recognition and reality flow through both of them. Cancer affects everyone. I mean, she didn't end up having Cancer, but it's still true. I do know know anyone who hasn't had someone in their lives affected by it. I don't know, even after that part ended I just though it was very moving. Charlie, obviously has his own reasons to not want to be around Sarah anymore, but he still didn't want her to be sick. Personally, Charlie, as much as I love Sarah and John you should have hit the explosives when they showed up. Suck.

I love John and Cameron too. They can't really kill John, but I'm mighty afraid for Cameron and Derik whom I'm also fond of.

Dollhouse is good. Getting better. I shall have a drawer of inappropriate starches someday. YES. Sierra and Victor I think I love you. Echo and Ballard (not as a couple) too. And Echo's handler. Okay, I'll admit it I think this is another good cast show. Although Topher really does have his skeevy moments.

Dollhouse thoughts under the cut.

So I know no Dollhouse spoilers except to that if the season finale airs we will see Alpha. And i know which actor plays Alpha. Now, Fox has promised us all of season one, but there is much interwebs debate on how the scheduled date for the Dollhouse finale is the same as the Prison Break finale, and how two shows can not be in the same spot. Give me Dollhouse. Moving on.

Anyway, after seeing the preview for next weeks episode I had some thoughts and went on a mini rant to the effect of: I want Echo, Sierra and Victor and the others to escape the Dollhouse, but if they do essentially the show is over. However, wouldn't it be just like Whedon to throw a wrench in our understanding about what this show is really about?

Is it possible to be a Doll and be empowered? I mean, so many people have been unhappy with the exploitation on this show and how long can viewers watch these men and women be exploited without wanting them to gain some since of self. We've seen them becoming aware of each other and of their past. Echo is clearly having flashbacks, but is it enough?

So next week they 'awaken'. Well if they escape what happens? What if they don't escape? What if they don't fake it either? Is the only way to be a Doll to have no sense of Self? Do they have to wiped into powerless children to take the new imprints? Or could they decide to take Topher and the handlers and run a counter Dollhouse? Missions to subvert and free other Dolls. I hope this show is about to become complex in ways no one anticipated. Because Buffy was not a show about a girl slaying vampires and that was the end of that. So I don't know, maybe next week what we thought Dollhouse was really about will change.

If it doesn't I'm still going to stick with it. These last two weeks have been an improvement. I still haven't heard anything about a season two though.

Second interview yesterday did not go as well as I had hoped. My brain seems to become fearful mush. I should find out sometime in the next two to three weeks if I'm hired. I hope so very much that I am.
