Alright people it's time for the second leg of the Triple Crown. It's Preakness Day. Break out your black eyed susans and get ready to watch a girl beat the boys. Oh, I will take such joy in Rachel Alexandra beating the boys. I mean, I really hope that's how it turns out. So below the cut are my predictions.
1. Rachel Alexandra
2. Pioneer of the Nile
3. Friesan Fire (he stepped on himself in the Derby, he's more of a threat then you'd think)
I'm only going to call the top three. I'm still not sure about Mine That Bird. I just don't think a mile and a sixteenth is his distance. If I had to pick some other horses that might be up there I'd through out Musket Man, Mine That Bird, and maybe Tone it Down. Maybe on that last one. He has the same sire Medaglia d'Oro as Rachel Alexander. I remember watching Medaglia d'Oro run and he was a good runner. Very nice.
